THE HOUSE

While staying at Corranbuie feel free to walk right into the loch for a swim or for a spot of fishing. From September to April each season you can also collect mussels at low tide. They are delicious!

This house was built around 1850 and has been extended over time. The land extends to nearly 4.5 acres, with an acre of it in the loch so only visible during low tide.

THE GROUNDS

The house sits in approximately 4.5 acres of land. This consists of patio areas, grass, woodland and, at low tide, some of West Loch Fyne!

We've even left some wellies in the house so you can just walk into the loch at low tide for a picnic on a little island just off-shore or collect mussels.

CLEAN AIR & PITCH BLACK NIGHTS

One of our boundaries is a burn (small river). Where it meets the loch you'll often find trout. It's a sea loch so no need for a fishing permit - just a lot of patience and readiness to get wet will do!

On moonless nights you'll see nothing, nothing at all but the stars. No lights, no sounds but a few passing cars.
